Supervisor Role and Elections
2026 is an election year for SWCD Supervisors! The filing period for Supervisor Candidates is May 19 to June 2.
There are many helpful tips and tools in the MASWCD Supervisor Elections Guide for SWCDs.
SWCDs that have Supervisor openings should review the MASWCD Supervisor Elections Guide, make sure to post election information on your website and promote on social media and in local media outlets.

MASWCD District Quarterly Reports
MASWCD sends quarterly reports to SWCDs each Spring, Summer, Fall and in the Winter dues mailing highlighting the events, trainings, resources and accomplishments MASWCD has provided to its membership. Click on the documents below to read each report for 2026.
Winter District Report
IMPLAN Report
The IMPLAN Report is an economic impact analysis and modeling program that measures the economic impact of conservation funding in Minnesota. Data is collected from NRCS Minnesota, BWSR Minnesota and MASWCD.
The report concludes that for every dollar spent on conservation programs, $1.85 was returned to our local economy, including the support of 4,285 jobs. When a landowner implements a conservation practice, the entire community benefits. Read the full report below and share!
MASWCD AWARD NOMINATION FORMS - 2026
MASWCD offers several awards to recognize the outstanding conservation achievements taking place throughout Minnesota between SWCDs and their cooperators. Please find links below to the 2026 award nomination forms.
Award winners will be recognized at the 90th Annual MASWCD Convention, November 30 to December 2, 2026, at the Double Tree by Hilton, Bloomington-Minneapolis South. Nominations close Friday, Sept. 4.
