Supervisor Role and Elections
2026 is an election year for SWCD Supervisors! The filing period for Supervisor Candidates is May 19 to June 2.
There are many helpful tips and tools in the MASWCD Supervisor Elections Guide for SWCDs.
SWCDs that have Supervisor openings should review the MASWCD Supervisor Elections Guide, make sure to post election information on your website and promote on social media and in local media outlets.

MASWCD AWARDS
MASWCD offers several award programs to recognize the outstanding conservation achievements taking place throughout Minnesota between SWCDs and their cooperators.
The award application period for 2026 will open in the Fall.
The 2025 MASWCD 89th Annual Convention was held December 1-3 at the Double Tree by Hilton, Bloomington-Minneapolis South where many were recognized for their dedication to conserving Minnesota's soil and water resources.
