MN Envirothon & Youth Education

What is the Envirothon?
The Minnesota Envirothon is an outdoor field experience and academic competition that educations students, ages 14 to 19, about our state's conservation issues and careers in natural resource management. First, student teams of five compete in area Envirothons where they are tested in five categories: Aquatics, Forestry, Soils & Land Use, Wildlife, and the current environmental issue. The top three teams advance to the State Envirothon where only one team will advance to the National Envirothon to compete with thousands of students from around the world for scholarships and prizes.
