Award Programs

 

 

MASWCD offers several award programs to recognize the outstanding conservation achievements taking place through SWCDs and their cooperators.

The 2013 award programs application period will open in May or June with an August 22 submission deadline.

 

2012 MASWCD Awards

(award winners were recognized at the MASWCD Annual Convention & Trade Show, December 2-4, 2012 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington)

 

  SWCD of the Year Award

This award recognizes and stimulates leadership within the Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) to go above and beyond the base capacity.

The award honors an SWCD Supervisor who has demonstrated leadership and achieved significant results in the conservation of Minnesota’s soil and water resources.

The award honors landowners who have implemented innovative forestry conservation activities, demonstrated leadership and achieved significant results in the protection of Minnesota’s forestry resources.
